Total Hip Replacement, Part 3: Preparing to Stand in Acute Care
The therapist instructs a patient in coming from sit to stand, following a total hip replacement (THR). Hip precautions are explained and the patient’s oxygen saturation levels and pain levels are assessed during bed mobility and changes in position.
